Johannes Kepler Universität Linz – JKU
November 17, 2023

Description

In our plan to rotate between the cities and states of Austria, we are organizing this year’s meeting at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) in Linz, which offers a friendly atmosphere on the top floor of the Uni-Center above the Mensa (big thanks to Prof. Milan Kracalik who kindly agreed to be the local organizer).

This year the conference is coming to the green university “in the forest”, so to speak; during coffee breaks, you might hear the gaggling moorhens in the pond in front of the building. The Teichhaus restaurant near the Uni-Center offers a pleasant place to have a collegial “debriefing” before our departure (dinner is included in the fee).

The conference is thematically open. Contributions are welcome in all areas of rheology and applications of complex fluids and soft matter, including polymer solutions and melts, colloidal suspensions, foams, emulsions, biological or food materials. In addition to the oral presentations, there will be keynote presentations. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Roberto Cerbino has already confirmed. Also new is that we encourage bachelor and master students to share their findings with the rheology community in the form of poster presentations including a 2-minute short presentation.

We thank you for your motivation to advance the ÖGR and also our sponsors who make this possible! The ÖGR board and Prof. Kracalik are looking forward to welcoming you in Linz!

Participation:

All participants are invited to submit an abstract, which will be published in the abstract booklet. Selected participants will be contacted to give an oral presentation (15 min incl. Q&A) depending on the capacity of the conference. We encourage master and bachelor students to present their data in the poster session. Their participation in the conference is free, but lunch and dinner are not included.

Please submit your abstract below.
Deadline is August 31st 2023.

Bookings are closed for this event.
